Brewdebakers Tap & Grill

Once again we were disappointed at Brewdebakers. After trying two other restaraunts and found them packed and the wait too long we settled for Brewdebakers. There was no line and plenty of free tables - not a shock.

The service was good but not great. At the end of the meal our server said you two don't want any desert or coffee do you Not as a question but more of a statement. So while my wife had thought of getting desert this made up her mind - no desert for us at Brewdabakers.

The food on the other hand was not good at all. My wife had the Panfried Haddock. She said it was soggy and tasted like it had been defrosted in a microwave - not at all crispy as if it had indead been pan fried. I had the Margarita Fajitas. Normally when you get fajitas they are served sizziling on a metal platter. These were served on the same type of platter but only just warm. This was the most tasteless meal I have ever eaten. If it had not been for the hot sauce on the table it would not have been able to have been enjoyed. I have never had to add anything to fajitas at any other establishment.

We would have to be very hungry to go back again. Another dissappointment is that the Lone Star in Halifax is now a Brewdabakers.

Excellent...Good food and lovely waitress...

I have been to this establishment several times, with my wife and with our bruch group.We have not found any complaints thus far and with the food and service as good as it is , I would certainly overlook any minor issues.But,
of course, I'd have to experience some first.
